Minimum URL Tagging Requirements for Advanced Reporting
To unlock the full power of Ruler Advanced Reports, Ruler must receive specific tracking identifiers via the landing page URL when a visitor arrives. These identifiers enable Ruler to attribute sessions, campaigns, ad groups, keywords and performance and tie it with your Ad platform data, which is essential for accurate DDA and MMM reporting.
While we strongly recommend following our UTM guidance here. At a minimum, the following URL value parameters must be present on the landing page URL for you to utilise the Ruler advanced reports and any of our DDA and MMM modelling.
Campaign & Ad ID Parameters (Required for Advanced Reports)
For deeper campaign-level reporting such as campaign IDs, ad set IDs, creative IDs and keyword IDs, the following value parameters must be present on the landing page URL:
