Tracking Webforms in Ruler Analytics

Tracking forms within Ruler Analytics enables you to capture detailed information about individual leads and attribute their journey back to the original form submission—even when that lead becomes qualified or results in a sale within your CRM.

There are multiple methods available to track forms in your Ruler dashboard, depending on how your website is configured.

Form tracking requirements?

When capturing forms we want to ensure we capture some consistent identifier that is available in your website and your CRM/data warehouse. Identifiers we recommend are

  • Email Address
  • Phone Number
  • Unique ID (OrderID/Unique Customer ID etc)
  • Cookie ID (We support Rulers Cookie/Google Analytics Client ID)
