Upload Offline Conversions to Ruler Analytics
Ruler Analytics is a marketing attribution platform that helps businesses understand how leads and conversions are generated across different channels. Its primary function is to track online conversions, typically through:
- Form submissions on your website
- Live chat interactions
- Inbound phone calls that originate from your digital campaigns
Ruler achieves this using first-party JavaScript tracking, assigning unique session IDs to users and linking their activity back to marketing sources (like paid ads, organic search, etc.).
Ingesting Offline Leads
However, Ruler Analytics is also designed to capture and integrate offline leads, which could come from:
- Leads captured via Ad Platforms such as Facebook or Linkedin
- In-person visits
- CRM-entered leads from trade shows, walk-ins, or referrals
Manually logged sales or appointments
How it works:
Ruler allows these offline leads to be imported manually or via your CRM integrations (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive). Once ingested, Ruler:
Will try to match them to their original online marketing touchpoint if possible using the email address, phone number, or cookie ID. Alternatively we can upload them as an offline touchpoint with an override marketing source such as Facebook/Offline.
