Welcome to Ruler Analytics – we're excited to partner with you on your journey to smarter, data-driven marketing! This guide outlines what to expect during onboarding and how to get started with your setup.

🧭 1. Onboarding Kick-off Call

Your onboarding begins with a welcome call hosted by your dedicated Onboarding Manager. During this session, you’ll:

  • Meet your Onboarding Manager
  • Refresh on your Scope of Work and Review your onboarding roadmap
  • Clarify setup requirements
  • Get answers to any initial questions you or your team may have about setup

This call is designed to ensure you're set up for success right from the start.

🔑 2. Access to the Ruler Platform

After the kickoff call, you’ll receive:

  • An invitation to access the Ruler Analytics platform
  • A link to your personalised Onboarding Manager

This outlines every step required to complete your setup efficiently with support guides and documentation.

🔐 3. Tech Stack Authentication

To enable seamless data integration, you'll be guided to connect your existing platforms, including:

  • Advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads)
  • CRM systems
  • Marketing automation tools
  • Other data sources

This step allows Ruler to unify and analyse performance across your marketing ecosystem.

🌐 4. Website Implementation

We'll guide you through the implementation of Ruler’s tracking code across your website and any active subdomains. This enables accurate visitor tracking, user journey mapping, and conversion attribution.

Most implementations require no developer support as Scripts can be added via Google Tag Manager. For custom setups, API and webhook options are available and may require internal developer involvement.

🎯 5. Conversion & Lead Capture Configuration

Configure the tracking of key conversion points, including:

  • Form submissions
  • Live chats
  • Phone call tracking
  • E-commerce transactions

Capturing these touchpoints is essential for full attribution and ROI analysis.

🔄 6. Workflow Mapping & Integrations

Collaborate with your onboarding team to:

  • Define data flows between your website, Ruler, and your integrated platforms
  • Map lead journeys from source to sale
  • Ensure end-to-end closed-loop reporting is in place

📈7. Ad Platform Activation

Enhance your ad platform performance by enabling Activation Integrations. This allows Ruler to push CRM data (e.g., MQLs, SQLs, offline sales) back into your advertising platforms for smarter optimisations and improved targeting.

👨‍💻 Developer Support (If Required)

For clients with custom integration needs, Ruler offers powerful API and Webhook capabilities. These may require assistance from your development team and are fully supported by our technical documentation and onboarding specialists.
