Attribution Differences
Exploring why Rulers attribution differs to your individual ad platforms
Ruler provides a de-duplicated view of your marketing performance, helping you measure all touchpoints that contribute to a conversion or sale across the customer journey.
Because of this, reporting differences can occur when comparing Ruler data with individual advertising platforms. This is typically because ad platforms track attribution independently and often use different attribution models, conversion windows, and reporting methodologies.
Common Meta Differences
Meta reporting and Ruler reporting can often differ when using a click-based attribution model in Ruler. This is because Meta includes impression and view-based attribution within its reporting, across a range of attribution windows. These interactions are not considered within a click-only attribution model in Ruler, which can lead to variations in reported conversions and performance.
