Import Opportunity Data via CSV in App
This guide explains how to manually import your pipeline stages(opportunity) data into Ruler Analytics using a CSV file.
Overview
You can upload historical or external sales data into Ruler Analytics via the Imports section. Once uploaded, the data will be processed and added to your revenue reports.
Step 1: Navigate to Imports
- Log in to your Ruler Analytics account
- Go to Settings Click Imports
- Select Opportunity
Step 2: Prepare Your CSV File
- Download the CSV template provided in the Imports section
- Open the template and enter your opportunity data
- Ensure your data matches the required format and column structure exactly
Tip: Do not rename or remove required columns, as this may cause import errors.
Step 3: Upload Your File
- Return to the Imports page
- Click Browse files
- Select your completed CSV file
- Confirm the upload
Step 4: Processing & Validation
Ruler Analytics will automatically check your file for errors If issues are found, you will be shown details so you can correct and re-upload If the file is valid, your data will be imported into your reports
Step 5: Data Availability
Imported data may take up to 30 minutes to appear in your reports
